Meats
Beef
Over
the years North Acomb has gained a great reputation for the finest quality
beef, being a registered Retailer of Certified Aberdeen Angus Beef.
This is supplied to us weekly from the North of Scotland, it is then
hung and cut to customers' requirements.
Pork
Pork is mainly bought in and has to be of the highest quality to
meet our requirements for both fresh pork cuts, or to be dry cured into
gammon and bacon. This we have done for many years, and a proportion
of pork is reared at home in a large open straw shed.
Lamb
Most of the lamb sold in the farm shop are home bred, reared and fattened
on North Acomb's green pastures.

The
range of meat products on offer in the shop range from: traditionally
fed lamb and pork, through to free range chickens, geese and ducks.
There is also a selection of choice local game, dry cured bacon and
gammon.
It
isn't possible to conclude this section on meats without making mention
of Robin's fantastic own recipe burgers, black puddings, sausages
and beef olives, which are legendary in the area.
Poultry
Also available is our range of poultry including free range chickens,
gressingham ducks and duck breasts.
Speciality
Cuts
We also specialise in special occasion joints of meat for dinner parties
etc. These include Crown and Guards of Honour, and racks of lamb,
a full selection of Aberdeen Angus Beef on the bone, and racks of
pork. We also roast joints of gammon and beef which can be left whole
or sliced and decorated on a platter for buffets etc.
